Crosby still sidelined due to concussion (AP)
Penguins star Sidney Crosby will miss his fifth consecutive game Saturday in Boston because of a concussion. Penguins coach Dan Bylsma said Friday that Crosby was progressing, but isn’t ready to resume practicing or playing. Crosby will not be allowed to return to the ice until he is symptom-free.
Bruins score 5 in 3rd, rally past Flyers (AP)
The Boston Bruins left the Philadelphia Flyers behind in a wild third period. Steve Kampfer broke a tie with 1:14 left in Boston’s five-goal third to help the Bruins beat the Flyers 7-5 on Thursday night. In a game that featured five lead changes, the Bruins rallied to beat the Flyers for their third straight victory.
